About Our Owner
I have lived most of my life in Ogden (with the exception of two years in Russia). I love the outdoor activities in Utah: mountain biking, rock climbing, backpacking, rafting, and skiing in the winter. I keep in shape so I can keep up with my kids. I value my family, and work so I can spend quality time with them. My wife and five children are what drive me.
I started Wasatch Heat Cable because I saw a better way to deal with the snow and ice that builds up on homes here. I love to ski in lots of snow, but it is not good to have all that snow on your roof. Each project we complete is compelling in its uniqueness. It is a mental challenge to do the best I can for my customers. I have a background in construction, so I understand your roof from the inside out. I only bring on people who have the same passion for problem solving that I have.
Wasatch Heat Cable did everything they said they would do, and showed up when they said they would. I pinged them on the internet and they responded with 24-hours of my pinging them. I found them to be very professional and would work with them again.
Very professional company - from the office person who took my call, to the owner who came to prepare the estimate, to the workers who did the installation. Great communication - they came when they said they would and even called to let us know when they were running ahead of schedule. With snow on the roof now it looks like the new cable is doing the trick.
Patrick did a great job installing our heat cable last Fall. He was courteous, prompt and knowledgeable. This Fall he removed the heat cable as we were having a new roof installed. Again, he communicated clearly and was great to work with. I would recommend Wasatch Heat Cable to anyone.
